@David-TP There are multiple users on this forum that claim that their Deco app has offered them 1.6.4 offical firmware update for Deco X50 v1 EU. But:
- this firmware update is not being offered in deco app for me; only 1.6.1 is (I am on 1.5.5)
- It is also not available as download on the official TP link website : https://www.tp-link.com/nl/support/download/deco-x50/v1/?app=tpplc#Firmware
where can I download the 1.6.4 official firmware?

@David-TP tried 1.6.7 on my X55's. Had two big network meltdowns before rolling back to 1.6.1 where things have been fine. When is 1.6.4 being published as I can't find a link to it.

@JanRekenaar 1.6.7 is a Pre-Release firmware you can download it from the link from the page (1) and then unzip the zip file and then install it on your Deco X50 V1 by using Web UI

@David-TP Hi David, is 1.6.4 still being published and being made available for Deco X50 v1 (EU) or is 1.6.4 being incorporated in 1.6.7 and being made available later on?
in other words: does 1.6.4 still exists?

Hi, Thanks for the update.
I will report it to the engineer first.
Personally, I think running all the newly added features might make the device CPU and content usage close to the limit.
Did you monitor the CPU/memory status on the Deco APP or via web UI?
Best regards.

@David-TP Thank you for your help and answer.
Yes that's right, when I tried the "mesh-master" setup DecoApp couldn't find the ZTE Router. I submitted two app-logs and put your name in the message.
I've tried the setup again, each time I did a full reset.
Still the same result, mesh agent setup goes through but then the "no internet" message.
Edit: seems like the "handshake" process won't go trough all the way. On the ZTE the is a manual approach with 3 steps for setup.
It goes through step 1 and 2 (see picture "Deploying..."), then the Deco does a restart and the setup process / handshake is interrupted before step 3. (Configuring new mesh device Wi-Fi..)
What is noticeable is that the Deco keeps his own IP range and won't switch to the ip range of the ZTE Mesh master.
