Model: Tapo C520WS
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.9

Quick question — on the Tapo C520WS, does motion tracking trigger and follow movement only within the defined motion/human/vehicle detection zones, or does it track motion regardless of where it happens in the frame?

Trying to figure out if the zones actually influence tracking, or just alerts.

Thanks!

Detection zone applies to the motion tracking, movement within the detection zone will trigger the motion tracking. Note that once the motion tracking starts, it will ignore the detection zone as it needs to track the movement.
