Hello, a quick question that can hopefully be answered soon.

When moving into our house, I bought some PX50 units to build a network through PLC, as our LAN network wasn't installed yet.

Now, the LAN network is installed. The main PX50 unit is connected to the LAN network, and one other PX50 unit is connected to it via a data cable. So the network is up and running.

Question now is, whether I can buy some other Deco units, that are smaller, to connect to the main Deco PX50 unit?  The reason I am asking is because apparently, the PLC backhaul protocol of the PX50 is different from other types. so the PX50 is not 100% compatible with all products it seems...

Example: Deco X50 will that work?

Thx!

Jozef

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco X50 can connect to Deco PX50 via WiFi Backhaul or Ethernet Backhaul. There is just no Powerline Backhaul between them.

Best regards.
