Model: Archer AX72
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer AX72(EU)_V1_1.2.6 Build 20240619

Hi,

I'm using AX72 V1 (with fw 1.2.6) meshing with a AX53 V1 (fw 1.4.3 pre-release) via Ethernet backhaul.

Everything is working normally until I found that the wifi connection is unstable (red light bling on AX53)

Then I unplug the ethernet cable from AX72 to AX53, the wifi is back to normal and they connected wirelessly. I thought the pre-release fw from AX53 is the problem, but when I did factory reset on AX53, the problem is still happened.

I searched for the problem then I found that few people faced the same with me (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/681528?replyId=1395344)

I cannot find any solution from above topic. Do you have any solution or new fw for this problem?

Thanks!

Hi@HarryLo253,

Thank you for reporting your issue to our community.

If the wired connection is unstable between the main router AX72 and AX53, please try different Ethernet cables for a comparison.

Please confirm that you have created Ethernet backhaul correctly:

Don’t configure the satellite and make sure it is under factory mode at first, if it was configured before, reset the satellite router to factory defaults.

Then connect your main router’s LAN port to the satellite’s LAN port via an Ethernet cable.
