X50-Outdoor - No longer supported.

Is there any news on bringing the firmware of the X50-Outdoor into line with the X50?
There's been no significant updates to the X50-Outdoor since its launch, only small fixes. The lack of firmware updates negates (turns off) many of the features of the X50.
If TP-Link has no interest in the X50-Outdoor, please be honest so that I can ditch my Deco setup and look for a system that is properly supported.
Thanks

Hi, Nice to see you again. I believe there is a further firmware update plan for Deco X50-outdoor, but "when" might be your main concern. I will reach out to the engineer to see whether there is a clear roadmap.
As you tagged "ECO Mode/WiFi Schedule", is it the top 1 feature that you wish to be added to the Deco X50-outdoor?
When this feature was first introduced to Deco X50_V1, I expected to see many users activate it at once and provide some optimization feedback. However, to date, there has been minimal usage feedback. It's possible that many users have a mixed Deco system similar to yours, or they might not find the ECO mode necessary.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Correct. ECO Mode disappears from the app the moment X50-Outdoor is added.
I have no idea if I would use the function, as I have no idea how it works due to the device not supporting the function. However, in these times of austerity, any function that can usefully reduces the power usage of the devices when its not needed should be used if possible.
Ideally ECO measures should be available on a "per device" basis, so my X50-Outdoor and the Deco unit it is linked to can remain on high (normal) power levels to allow outdoor cameras to remain energised, but all other Deco devices can be on a lower power mode to conserve power. Perhaps this is why others do not use the mode, if its an "all or nothing" option.
I expected devices of the same version to have similar/identical features (X5x) but the X50-Outdoor seems to have been left out of the loop when it comes to features applied to its indoor bretheren.

Please update on this as if there is nothing planned in the next week or so I have another system in mind to replace my Deco system.
Thanks

Just want to know if anyone is working on the X50-Outdoor firmware or not so that I can make an informed decision whether or not to ditch Deco and start again.

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I've asked the engineers, however, there is no further reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP Will it or will it not be upgraded, with ecomode and so on?
If it will not I will have to leave Deco, it's a shame with these strange software plans.

So X50-Outdoor is EOL, thank you for connfirming.
My guess is is as the BE65-Outdoor has been introduced, TP-Link has zero interest in what is clearly now a legacy product. I will update my Amazon review accordingly.
It's not a huge issue for me, I've ditched my Deco setup completely and am now using a system that I'm disappointed I hadn't originally chosen as it was on the list of options. It's vastly superior, considerably faster, more user-friendly and the signal stretches further even without the need for an outdoor node!
Bye bye TP-Link

Hi, it was truly depressing to feel the loss of trust from our users. Fortunately, Today, I received more updates from the engineering team.
A new firmware is planned in Q3 that would support most of the latest features on the 1.12.0 platform(Understand the Differences Among Deco Firmware Platforms), such as WiFi Access Control. It might still take a while, but I believe you would still want to stay informed.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
