Model: Deco BE25
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi I am searching for a suitable Mesh router for my home (india) which is spread across 2000 sq.ft, but has multiple concrete walls around.

I have been looking for the best price to performance mesh system which will also support me in long term in terms of hardware and software(firmware updates). My options are X20 / X60 (AX5400) / BE25 (pfa: screenshot attached). My incoming connection is around 100 m/bits, but it's getting upgraded to 200/500 m/bits depending on my isp. Which one would you recommend?

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.

Both Deco X60 and Deco BE25 could handle a gigabit connection.

Deco BE25 doesn't support 6 GHz, and if most of the wireless clients are WiFi 6/802.11ax only, Deco X60 would be a more cost-effective choice.

The Available models for Deco X60 for sale should be at least V3. the latest firmware 1.3.x and above has added WireGuard VPN, WiFi Access Control, as well as other advanced software features:Deco X60_V3/3.2/4.2-1.3.0 Supports ECO Mode,WireGuard VPN and WiFi Access Control

Best regards.

Hi, welcome to our community.

According to your information, the three Deco models can meet your needs.

If you will add WiFi 7 client devices and want to use WiFi 7, you may consider Deco BE25.

If you want to upgrade ISP bandwidth to more or even Gigabit, Deco X60 is more recommended compared to Deco X20.

Thank you and best regards.

Hi  @Marvin_S

Thank you for the recommendation. Tbh i went through a lot of subreddits and threads on the community page, what i have noticed is there are a lot of reported issues related to firmware for the deco x60 (correct me if I am wrong) and that is what is stopping me from making a decision. Since I plan to use these mesh devices for a longer period of time I dont want to rush it.

Also any specific reason to opt for x60 over be25 with gigabit connection?
