CPL in a mix Deco AP

Hello,
I'd like to have a mix Network of X50-Outdoor, M5 and P9.
To have the last software as master, I'd prefer to put the X50 as master.
But, I need the CPL backhaul on P9.
The FAQ says you could use CPL only if one P9 is master. Why ?
Is there a way to force two slaves P9 to use CPL backhaul ? If I connect one by Ethernet, will they negotiate CPL backhaul ?

@WoupLA TpLink wrote, indeed, that you can use CPL between two P9 only if the master is a P9.
I read that somebody observed two satellite Deco using CPL (+wifi) backhaul, while the master was not a P9.

Hi, welcome to the community.
To guarantee the success of the PLC Backhaul, it is always recommended to keep the P9 as the main Deco.
While there is some feedback that when one Deco P9 is connected to the main Deco via an Ethernet cable, other satellite Deco P9s could sometimes establish PLC Backhaul with the first wired Deco P9.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

@WoupLA Why? I assume it is because the main Deco decides how the satellites communicate in the mesh. If the main Deco does not understand CPL, it will perhaps not take the CPL bandwidth into account, and that will cause a P9 satellite to establish a backhaul with a non P9, hence not using CPL.

Hi, what you said is basically the right logic for PLC Backhaul. It is also the official guide to establish the PLC Backhaul.
While there was feedback before, the Powerline Backhaul did show up on the Deco APP when the main unit is not P9(https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/515578). It was a rare case, and the PLC Backhaul connection was also unstable in this case. I've consulted with the engineers about such cases, but they didn't explain much about it, and always suggested keeping P9 as the main Deco for PLC Backhaul.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
