Hi, I'm hoping you can help us. We have a 5g router - HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro 2 and three deco m5's which were previously used with a BT router. 

 

Are the 5g router and the deco M5 compatible? If so what settings do we need to use on the 5g router - there is no modem mode that we can see. 

 

The 5G router is in the loft and connected to an external aerial, it is showing it is receiving 5g signal but the wifi connection is not strong enough around the house - hence wondering if the M5's will work.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco M5 should work with  HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro 2, but the first Deco M5 needs to be connected via an Ethernet cable to the HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro 2.

It is also suggested to set Deco into Access Point mode:
