Auto switching from night mode to day mode
After the latest firmware update 2 of my 3 cameras do not switch back from night mode to day mode unless I switch them off and back on. Just stays black and white all day until I reset them. The 3rd camera has not had the update so far and continues to work as normal.

got this happening with both my C200s too. Definitely software, it's both of them, immediately after the last software update. Was just waiting for a fix but came here to see if I can find out what's up!

It's not just Night mode getting stuck on the cameras fail to switch mode so if they are in day mode they fail to go to night mode which is much worse than the other way around because they become useless at night if they are in day mode without a manual switch.
Tapo should just release a fix or roll back already. They clearly fudge this update. I have 2 cameras that are suffering the issue and nothing from Tapo yet.

I reached out to Tapo support, supplied them with my cameras MAC address's and they released additional newer firmware that seemed to have fixed the issue for me.
Might help y;all as well to get in touch with them, they are quite quick and friendly about the matter.

@AlexTheGreat89 Thank you for your advice. I did the same, Tapo replied pretty efficiently. All I need to do is to turn the Video Mode back to Auto. Then go to Settings - Reboot Camera. Now it works like before.
