Remote virtual Desktop freezes when connecting via TP-Link Deco BE85 (wireless)
Situation:
We are using two BE85 satellites with WiFi 6 (7 is disabled currently). The main BE85 satellites has a wired connection to our internet router, as well as another wired connection to the companies storage system. All other connections are wireless (WiFi)! We haven't had any issues inside the LAN or when accessing the internet with our client devices.
All notebooks and PCs are using Windows 11.
Problem: We must connect with a virtual remote desktop (Windows 11) to get access to a customers network. This virtual desktop infrastructure is provided by the customer. We are using the Windows App (Windows App Version 2.0.503.0, Clientversion 1.2.6232.0) on our Windows 11 systems to connect with the virtual desktop. The authentication and login has no issues and the Window to the remote desktop opens. But after a few seconds the screen of the virtual desktop freezes and you can't use it any longer. There is nothing you can do except closing the window of the virtual machine. This issue occurred 3 days ago for the first time. But we are using this remote virtual desktop since September last year without issues before.
Troubleshooting:
When disconnecting the notebook or PC from TP-Links WiFi and connecting it with either a wireless cell phone hotspot (using 5G) or using a wired connection with the internet router the remote desktop is alive again and can be used right from the same position where it was frozen before - meaning you don't even need to reboot the virtual maching. As soon as we connect our devices with TP-Link Deco BE85 wireless the remote desktop freezes again. This means that TP-Link Deco BE85 is facing an issue with remote virtual desktop connections.
Do you have any idea what could be causing the issue? I appreciate any kind of hint about what can be changed in the TP-Link Deco BE85 configuration to resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance.
