XE75Pro Channel Interference ?
XE75Pro Channel Interference ?

Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.14 20241223 16551

I keep losing connection with my drayton wiser smart heating system hub. It works on 2.4g.

After running the deco network optimization utility it is showing 'perfect'. Even then i get disconnections. All the heating hub wifi signals (which has range extenders) all check out as either showing as good or strong.(top two categories)

However, if I use a wifi analyser app, it is showing channel interference around the channel the smart hub is using.

Any advice on how to overcome this disconnection problem.

Many thanks

  @RobFJ

Hi, welcome to the community.

You can try to install the beta firmware here:

Deco XE75 Pro_V2/V3 1.2.14_build_20250217_Beta

Update Advice

It allows Deco units under the same Mesh network to use non-overlapping channels for the 2.4GHz network.

Many thanks for the reply. I've upgraded the deco units with the beta upgrade but I can't see how to separate the channels.

Can you point me in the right direction.

Many thanks

  @RobFJ

Hi, it doesn't require extra configuration, and it is an automatic channel optimization mechanism.

Would the 2.4GHz connection get better with the beta firmware?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Tx.

I think there are crossed lines :)

As I mentioned in my last post I am working with the beta upgrade but I can't seem to find a way of allocating a particular device to a particular channel (ideally channel 1) which is what I'm trying to achieve
