AX53 hangs all the traffic while uploading

Hi
Yesterday i noticed suddenly a very slow internet connection and every acess to any web site or streaming service were really slow;
I relalized after a while that my wife's phone was uploading the photo library to the cloud.
Is there any option in this router (EU version ) to limit the impact of such heavy traffic done by one device on others connected devices.
Thank you

Hi@Dhafer,
Welcome to our community.
For your need, I think you can set up Homeshield QoS on the router:

@Joseph-TP Thank you it seems to be the adequate solution for this issues with this router.
I notice now a less download and upload speed in general but not constraining.
Is that linked to the way QOS works ?

Hi@Dhafer,
Thank you for your reply.
Are you saying that the speed is not reduced according to the QoS settings? Is the actual speed higher than the QoS settings?
Please restart the router to apply the QoS settings.

Hi I am just saying that I noticed a slight reduction of the maximum download speed when enabling QoS (I just put the exact download and upload speed I've measured)
It's not a problem for me, but I just want to know if this behavior is linked to the way QOS algorithm works ?

Hi@Dhafer,
Thank you for getting back to me.
Yes, QoS might reserve 5-10% as a buffer, and this small bandwidth penalty is usually worth it.
