Model: Archer BE230
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20250318 rel.31873(5553)

The Internet LED does not function correctly when the router is operating in Access Point mode and the Ethernet cable is connected to a LAN port instead of the designated blue WAN port. In this configuration, the LED remains off. However, when the cable is connected to the WAN port, the Internet LED behaves as expected. It is important to note that the Access Point functionality remains unaffected in both scenarios.

  @Yesrab

Hi,

This behavior is very common on TP-Link routers. In "Access Point Mode" the Internet LED only turns on if the router is connected to the network via the blue Ethernet port and not when connected via one of the yellow LAN ports. It's like that on all TP-Link routers with "Access Point Mode" that I own.

I don't know what prevents TP-Link from changing this behavior in their firmware.
