Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.7.0 0.9.1

Hi!

I recently got the VR600 v3 router, and it is actually lacking so much.

1. QoS is just..uaeless. It degrades the service and never functions properly. TP Link should bring back hard-coded bandwidth limits. Make it simple as long as you cannot execute QoS properly (big names cannot execute QoS properly, so why do you think you can, TP Link?)

2. Content filtering..not working as well. In WR series it was working like charm.

3. TP Link DDNS..binding subdomain to my STATIC IP, yet still cannot access it from outside. I can access through the IP directly though.

4. No uptime! Seriously?!!!

You have taken steps backwards, TP Link.

I cannot return this piece of ..., but I will definitely replace it.

Hi@Iceberg008,

Welcome to our community.

For QoS, do you mean that enabling QoS will cause network lag? Can you provide more details?
Please ensure that you set it correctly and adjust the priority for the corresponding device.

For content filter, please check if there are any spelling errors in keywords, URLs, or IP lists, and confirm that the rules are in the "enabled" state.

For uptime, do you mean the system's time? Navigate to Advanced > System Tools > Time Settings. Verify that the time zone is correct to ensure accurate synchronization of information.

If not, please provide relevant screenshots.

If you want to change the modem, please contact local support for further assistance.
