Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.3

Hi

I have specific need : I have my main router broadcasting wifi 6 5Ghz channel.

I want to extend his wifi to an external room in my house where I just need  2.4ghz wifi to some IoT

Is there a dedicated tplink wifi extender/repeater model that connects to a 5ghz wifi and re-braodcast just in 2.4ghz wifi( or let me choose on what wifi I like to rebrodcast ) ?

Thank you.

  @Dhafer this thread

You need a RE with High Speed mode feature - check this thread for more details on that.

Here are some application scenarios when using dual band range extenders (check application scenario 4).

Hi@Dhafer,

Thank you for contacting our community.

You can consider our dual-band Range Extenders, which can connect to the router via 2.4GHz and 5GHz at the same time, and then you can use the Range Extender's 2.4GHz alone to provide a network for IoT devices.
