Hi 

 

Im having a setup that X50 set as the main aps , but i need to get internet connection into the yard as well , did see the m4 2 pack as a quick solution , ive got wired lancable to the point where i can place the m4 ap , will this work ? 

 

I know that the speed will be lower in the m4 ap , but can live with that , not many devices will be connected to that ap as i need to connect a few IOT devices to it

Deco M4 would work well with Deco X50:Can different Deco models work together?

 

There is a potential concern when using mixed models. If an advanced feature requires the support of all Deco units in the Mesh, such as WiFi Access Control/Allow List, it will disappear from the Deco when Deco M4 is added. So, compared with Deco M4, Deco X10 or the same model Deco X50 would be better options.
