How does the doorbell D230s1 communicate with H200 hub ?

How does the doorbell D230s1 communicate with H200 hub ? What is the protocol between them ? Doorbell does not seem to communicate through WiFi, don't see it on my network. So that means as long as doorbell and hub are close, if there is no WiFi coverage where the doorbell is, it should work perfectly, correct ?

Tapo D230 and the H200 are the Tapo SubGHz devices, which operate in a dedicated wireless frequency, the Tapo SubG-1 GHz. TP-Link Sub-GHz Technology Brings the New Tapo Lineup of Smart Hub, Sensors,Switches and More
The doorbell is connected to the hub, which in turn connects to the router via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet. This means the camera can be installed in areas where the router's Wi-Fi doesn't reach, as long as it remains within the signal range of the hub.
