1.4.0 build 20241212 rel. 48194 breaks 160Mhz Channel width selection

Had this firmware get pushed from the app. Expected some LONG awaited features and fixes but was instead disappointed to find out it has actually removed the ability to select 160Mhz Channel width and forced my 3 Deco X60's to use 80Mhz.
Please advise.

My Deco X60 is experiencing issues connecting to the 5 GHz network. I am located in Bangladesh, where mobile devices commonly operate on Band 4 (channels 149-165) within the 5 GHz frequency range. It appears that the current firmware on my Deco X60 does not support these higher channels.
The absence of Band 4 support is limiting the compatibility of my Deco X60 with local devices and hindering my ability to fully utilize the 5 GHz band. Furthermore, the lack of manual channel selection makes it difficult to troubleshoot and optimize the Wi-Fi network for the best performance in my specific environment. I understand that newer Deco models, such as the Wi-Fi 7 series, offer manual channel selection, highlighting the value and feasibility of this feature.
Therefore, I respectfully request that you consider developing and releasing a beta firmware update for the Deco X60 (Version 3, US model) that includes:
- Manual channel selection for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
- Support for the 5 GHz Band 4 spectrum (channels 149-165) to ensure compatibility with devices commonly used in Bangladesh.
Enabling these features would significantly improve the functionality and compatibility of my Deco X60, allowing for better network optimization and seamless connectivity with my devices. I am confident that this update would be highly beneficial to other users in regions with similar 5 GHz band usage.

Thanks for all your help over the last year David, but I'm not interested in spending any more time troubleshooting this any further. I just ordered Unifi U7 XG access points from Ubiquiti to replace my X60's which I will either sell or donate. I hope TP Link gets serious about designing software and hardware that doesn't rely on the goodwill of customers to go back and forth testing beta firmware to fix what should be a simple bug. Otherwise, I think others will look elsewhere as I have.
All the best

Hi, have you tested the beta version I shared in the "Recommended Solution"?
Apart from Deco X50_V1, I think Deco X60 is the 2nd most updated WiFi 6 model, and I don't think it is EOL.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
