1.4.0 build 20241212 rel. 48194 breaks 160Mhz Channel width selection
Had this firmware get pushed from the app. Expected some LONG awaited features and fixes but was instead disappointed to find out it has actually removed the ability to select 160Mhz Channel width and forced my 3 Deco X60's to use 80Mhz.
Please advise.

Hi, I see you are from Brazil. The Deco X60_V3.20/V3.26 should be the US version. (You can have a confirmation on the bottom product label.)
If yes, you can test the beta firmware I just updated here:

In your post in page 1 (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/833844?replyId=1593174) for this new beta v1.6.1 you say:
It applies to:
Deco X60(US/EU)_V3.20/V3.26
But then you say:
| Deco X60(EU)_V3.20/V4.20 | Will update soon. |
So is it or is it not compatible with the EU AX5400? ( Deco X60 V3.20)
???

Hi, there was feedback on EU versions as well.
But the 1.6.1 beta firmware here is for the US version. Due to the differences in wireless regulations, the EU beta hasn't been ready yet.
So it is not recommended to install the beta on the Deco X60(EU)_V3.20.
Best regards.

Guys that you have the US version did it solve the issue?
For the EU Version ok we wait.
I wonder when the beta will be pushed as Official afterwards
Thanks

@David-TP
Yes. I am in Brazil. However, I have two versions of the Deco X60: one X60 (US) Ver: 4.20 and one X60 (US) Ver: 3.20.
Can I apply this beta version to both 4.20 and 3.20?

Possible Solution:
Currently, a beta firmware is ready, which should fix the reported issue. Please try to manually install the following version:
Deco X60(US)_V3.26/V4.26
Deco X5000(US)_V1.6
1.6.1_build_20260114_Beta (updated 2026.1.15)
@David-TP this beta firmware fixes the issue. on the Deco X5000(US)_V1.6
it requires going into android settings and resetting the app (clear cache & Data) in order to see the channel width selction setting. after that it works.
- are there any other changes that come along with this beta to look out for?
- when can we expect to see this fix pushed to a release build?
- were there any other improvements expected to be released alongside a new release build?
and 2 more questions, slightly unrelated....
- are there plans to make the website manager (192.168.x.x) of the router have more settings like the app does?
- will it ever be possible to change the channel number (ie. channel 36 / 40 / 44 / 48, not the channel width), something that can also be usefull for congestion (but is currently locked)?
thank you.

It is unclear when this firmware will be officially released. It is recommended to pay attention to the firmware notification on the Deco App.
