Hi TP-Link team,

I’ve updated my Archer GE800 v1 to the latest firmware:
Version: 1.2.1 Build 20250610 rel.39070(4555)
The device is currently working as a Satellite in EasyMesh mode. My main router is a TP-Link BE800, and the GE800 is connected as a mesh node.

According to the official changelog, this firmware adds a Cooling Control option specifically for the GE800 v1. However, I can’t find this option anywhere in the web interface.

Could you please clarify:

  • Is Cooling Control only available when the GE800 is running in standalone router mode?

  • Or should this option also be available in satellite mode?

Cooling Control is currently only available in the Main Router mode. 

 

It will be optimized and made available when the GE800 is working in the satellite mode in future updates.

As Kevin updated, when GE800 is used as a satellite router, cooling control is not available.
