Hello@Tigran-117,

Sorry I didn't notice you mentioned earlier that you wanted to restrict specific devices to filter specific websites.
There are some HomeShield-enabled devices you can choose from: HomeShield Routers.

Note: Please scroll to the bottom of the HomeShield introduction page to see the models that support HomeShield.

Hello@Tigran-117 ,

Welcome to our community.

Please click here to view products that meet your needs. You can filter according to your needs in the left menu bar, and you can also compare up to 3 products.
Check the Specification of the specific product. If it supports access control, it typically includes a whitelist function.

@Joseph-TP, thank you very much - I appreciate your time and support. Your message is helpful. However, based on the manuals, it's still unclear whether the devices allow limiting web resources via a whitelist.

I reviewed the documentation for both the Archer C80 and Archer AX72 Pro, and I also checked the information on this page: https://www.tp-link.com/en/homeshield/. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a clear confirmation that this feature is supported.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could recommend a specific model that includes this functionality.

Hello@Tigran-117 ,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Here is the link of the Specification comparison between AX72 pro and C80.

Both models support Access control: How to configure Access Control on the Wi-Fi Routers (new logo)

Hi,

Could you please describe more detailed what exactly you mean by "limit web resources via whitelist"?

  @woozle

Yes, of course—sorry that wasn’t clear in the first message. As an example, I’d like to limit one of the devices on the home network (an Android smartphone) to access only WhatsApp and Wikipedia. Anything not on this whitelist should be blocked.

I reviewed the access control settings in the Archer C80 manual in detail, and if I understood it correctly, it only allows filtering based on specific domains. However, this could be easily bypassed using a VPN or by accessing mirror websites.

It seems that by " whether the devices allow limiting web resources via a whitelist " you're refering to the Parental Control feature which most of these router models support.
