I use DDNS with FreshPing to alert to location outages.  This has been working fine until I updated one house with TP-Link Deco BE11000 Wi-Fi 7 bought at Costco.  I did get the DDNS registered to the new Deco.  The Ignore Ping from WAN option is on and cannot be changed.  From searches it seems the option to respond to pings from WAN is not available on these Decos.  Will this feature be available in the near future?  If not, how do others track outages?

Hi, did you edit the IPV4 settings when the mobile phone is on a local WiFi network?

You can try to turn off Cellular data, then disconnect/reconnect to Deco WiFi again, then check whether you can turn off the " Ignore Ping from WAN option".

  @David-TP  I will not be at the house until October.  I cannot turn off the option remotely.  Should I be able to change the option when I am on the local network?

Hi, yes, this feature is related to the IPV4 network configuration and needs to be edited under the local network.

  @David-TP  To clarify, this can be changed on a local network with the phone app, but not a PC web page?  Interesting as the Freshping system did receive one response from a ping this morning, but no responses after that.

Hi, the web UI can't edit the network configurations, and it needs to be done through the Deco APP under local WiFi network.
