Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.5 Build 20241211 rel.34816(4555)

Hey guys,

I'm running an ax55 with 2x ax10's with wired ethernet backhaul and whenever they're connected directly it slows down my whole network.
when its just wifi backhaul everything works as intended, ive been looking with wireshark and it seems like theres a alot happening even when theres absloutely zero network traffic

  @Joseph-TP

i could get wired and wireless speeds using speed test of 940mbps and 700mbps respectively, but would degrade over time, after about 1-12 hours those speeds would drop to 40mbps via lan amd wifi...

i fixed the problem, i replaced the whole setup with an omada setup and not a single issue now.

oc200

er605

eap653re x2

eap650-desktop

ax3000 wifi speeds of 900mbps via speedtest

Hi@Hobba ,

Welcome to our community.

When you test the Ethernet Backhaul, what is the actual speed?  Please confirm that you have connected your main router’s LAN port to the satellite’s LAN port via an Ethernet cable.

Please take screenshots with the test results and send them here.

Hello@Hobba ,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Are you suggesting replacing all wireless routers with Omada devices?
If that resolves the issue, then that's a good option!
Please continue to monitor your network. Please note that Omada devices are considered business products.If you have any further questions about using the Omada system, you can contact us directly in the Business Community.

  @Joseph-TP

from what i could gather it was sending connecting the AP's via wifi aswell as wired backhaul and every time something sent a broadcast 2 responses were sent, eventually having hundreds sent every second until it crashed and booted all users.

went to omada and haven't looked back, works great!
