iOS devices (iPhone & iPads) disconected from Internet on DECO X1500 + TL-MR6400
I have moved from my fiber internet provider HG8245H5 hardware to a TP-LINK setup with a Ethernet/4G router TL-MR6400 (connected to the fiber modem) and 3 DECO X1500 wired to the MR6400.
- The DECO X1500 are providing wifi for users (phones, laptops, ...)
- The MR6400 is providing wifi for utilities (camera, IoT, TV, ...)
On regular basis, iOS devices get disconnected from the internet.
They still have local IP address from the router and they are authenticated on the wifi. They can ping the local network and even connect to the cameras and router admin apps BUT they show "not connected to the internet". They cannot ping external DNS or resolv names.
I tried to :
- change iOS setting if private Wifi Mac address (none, fix)
- change "fast roaming"
- change "beamforming"
- disable "inteligent DHCP"
- disable "OFDMA/MU-MIMO"
- disable 2.4G to keep 5G band only
I also tried to "forget" and join again (this fixes the issue temporarly)
BUT after few min / hours again the issue comes back !
If I connect to the utility wifi directly on the MR640, all is ok whatever the setting. When I go back to the DECO X1500 after a wile, no more internet !!!!
Do you have any idea of a solution ?
Thanks for help !
