How to reset/wipe network info.

Hi all,
With various firmware problems where I was unable to log into the GE800 or it reset itself to factory default settings I have managed to break parental controls, perhaps the advanced security as well.
The parental control symptom is, after creating profiles I see duplicates of the profiles in the reports and while there's a time used the bar graph shows nothing, there is no information about most visited sites either, I don't usually see blocked sites so I don't know if that's broken too.
My question is how do I go about resetting/wiping the network data to start again?

Hello @raven-au
Could you please clarify which firmware version is currently installed on your GE800?
My question is how do I go about resetting/wiping the network data to start again?
If you're inquiring about how to reset the GE800 and reconfigure it from scratch, you can either click on 'Restore' in the Advanced > System > Factory Default Restore section to restore all configuration settings to default values, except for your login and cloud account information.
Alternatively, you can press and hold the Reset button on the router until the LED blinks blue to restore the router to its factory default settings.
If the Parental Control still displays abnormally, please kindly provide some screenshots for reference, and then we can try to figure out a cause.

@Kevin_Z I'm not using the GE800 atm. so I'm not sure, it may have been the released 1.2.1.

@Kevin_Z as I described in my original what you recommend is what lead to the problem.
I can ignore the duplicates profiles in the reports, presumably they would go away in time but the newly created profiles not recording and usage like most visited sites etc. is not ok.

@Kevin_Z as I said I'm not using the GE800 right now.
All I want is a way to reset the data that (I guess) belongs to a network (the GE800 MAC).
It's a simple question I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't have a simple answer.
Would deleting the network achieve this?

@raven-au or I guess the question might actually be would unbinding the GE800 network result in clearing the data stored, presumably in the cloud, data?

As far as I can check, a factory reset should erase all data saved on your device.
If the fact is not, I would recommend sending the configuration files on your GE800 to our support engineers via email to seek further investigation on it when you connect it back to the internet.

@Kevin_Z Does that apply to Security+ and Advanced Parental Controls subscription data as well?
When I decide to go back to the GE800 I'll try a factory reset again and see how that goes first.
But the latest GE800 firmware has been very problematic for me so something will need to change before I make that move.

Yes. Upon checking with the engineering team, they confirmed that a factory reset will erase all settings, including Security+ and Parental Control.

Yes, please give it a try again.
The new official firmware for GE800 will be released soon. You can wait and switch it back when the latest official firmware is available, then you can confirm how the new firmware works.
