I have 2 BE85s running. One is connected directly to 10Gbit fiber and the other is connected through a CommScope switch in another part of the house. 

Everything was working perfectly for the past 6 months. Then came home after holidays and found the second Deco has switched to Wireless Backhaul and I can't seem to get it back on to Ethernet. 
 

Tried everything suggested in the help center article. Ethernet backhaul works fine if I connect them directly. That makes me think it's the switch but I don't have access to the Switch user interface (live in an apartment). 
 

Confusing why it would have worked perfectly for 6 months then all of a sudden stop wor

I would try to connect the 2nd deco to a different port on the switch to see if that fixes the issue. I would also try a different cable from the port your using on the switch now to the 2nd deco. Can you provide the brand and model number of the switch?

I upgraded to the lastest firmware. Still wasn’t working. I tried changing the ports I was using. If use the 2.5gbit port to connect the two decos, i get the Ethernet backhaul to work. If I use the 10Gbit port, it always goes to the wireless backhaul. Is that expected that I can’t use the 10Gbit port to connect?
