Hi

I would just like to add a certificate so that I dont keep getting the warning every time a log into the router. I would also like to access remotely without the warning .

I have tried to search for the setting to add a certificate but I cant find it. When I do a search it gives me a couple of locations for certificate setting but when I click on them I still can see no certificate settings .

@Diav70 Thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to the TP-Link community.

I hope this article can explain this concern: “tplinkwifi.net” be recognized as “insecure” after enabled the https access in the web-based UI?

Hi,

As Kevin_Z indicates the Archer router does have a certificate, but since it was not issued by a Certificate Authority the web browser cannot verify the authenticity of the router's certificate and thus doesn't trust it.

If the warning you receive upon accessing the router's webpage bothers you a lot, then you can try to add the router's certificate as a "Trusted Certificate" to the web browser you use to access the router. (like illustrated for Chrome with the screenshots below)

Note that this somehow doesn't work for every TP-Link router model I have. The certificates of some models appear to be flawed. (?)

Anyway, it works fine for my Archer AXE75 and Archer BE550 router.

Restart the web browser.
