Hi Deco support,

I'm currently having problems accessing sites like disney+, prime, and netflix after I updated my deco mesh X60.

I tried to reset them a couple of times but it gives me the same error message that I need to disbale VPN or proxy settings which I do not have on the mesh.

I tried using my data  on my phone it pushes through the sites.

What should I do to the settings of the X60 mesh so I can access the streaming sites? Thank you!

Hi, may I know who your internet service provider is?

Do you have a wired laptop?

-If yes, can you properly access the streaming sites (netflix, disney+, prime, etc) on the laptop when it is directly connected to the ISP modem/fiber box, without Deco?

If you still keep the previous router, you can also switch the old router back.

If the old router works well, you can reply to this link to clone the MAC address of the old router on Deco:

How to configure MAC Clone on Deco

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Not sure why it would have done this just by upgrading your firmware but did you check to see if parental controls were turned on after the update? Are you using the normal DNS address or a different one?

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

@RRRadiant What's your "exact" firmware version? The latest firmware for X60 V3 is 1.3.0, as per the website.

Are there other Decos in the network, with the X60s?

Disable fast roaming, enable beamforming & see if it works.

Also, if you already have a router from the ISP, try running the Decos in access point mode.

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

Hi, parental control is not activated and the DNS is in normal mode. It’s just very disappointing that I tried a lot of ways but still I cant access streaming sites.

Since it seems the problem started with the new firmware you could downgrade your firmware to see if that fixes the issue. This would require you to download the firmware from the product page of your deco and installing it via the web UI
