Hi

 

Are there plans to update the X20 v1.2 for better compatibility when they are secondary units? In my case the main unit is an X50 but the X20's perform sluggish, they periodically lose connectivity even those in line of sight with each other.

Hi, I don't think there might be a new firmware for Deco X20_V1.2 coming soon.

Have you tried to connect the satellite Deco X20 via an Ethernet cable to the main Deco?

I'm sorry David but I would prefer not to wire my house, the reason for buying Deco mesh routers was exactly for not to need wiring.

 

X20's device support was always poor but now it seems like it's abandoned. For this money and the advertised DECO ecosystem I think I would need better interoperation, and more operational firmware updates and less useless feature introduction.

 

To be honest TP-Link's attitude is frustrating me.
