Hi

I have a pair of 4022 Powerline adapters, and they do work as a pair.

I also have a 4010 Powerline adapter pair, that wont pair with the above.

HOW2 pair them up to get all 4 inter-connecting?

Hi,

If the pairing doesn't work, then the distance between the Powerline adapters is likely too large.

Try the following.

Plug a TL-PA4010 into a wall socket close to one of the TL-PA4022.

Press the "Pair" button of the TL-PA4022 and then press the "Pair" button of the TL-PA4010. -> The "Powerline" lights of both adapters should start blinking and after a while both should turn solid on. If that is the case, then unplug the TL-PA4010.

Now do the same with the second TL-PA4010.

Provided that was also successful (i.e. Powerline light solid on), then all four Powerline adapters should now be interconnected and you can relocate the two TL-PA4010 to their destined locations. If the Powerline light doesn't turn on after relocation, then it means the distance is too far.

Thanks. I did manage a pairing. Ideally some software to access the unit adjacent to my router and be able to add the MAC addresses into a table inside of it. But.... The problem only really shows when I install a Linux on an old piece of hardware and the Wi-Fi adapter is not recognised. Many thanks for the swift and helpful reply.

Hello @ann_droid ,

Welcome to our community.

As Woozle said, the key to the configuration is to set one of them as the adapter, and the other units (as extenders) are paired with the adapter in close proximity one by one and then moved to other positions.
