Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.4 Build 20250603 rel.74380(5553)

I have an AX53 v1 with latest firmware and have enabled a 2.4 ghz guest wifi with bandwidth control set to 10 mbps download and upload.

It just straight up doesn't work, devices connected to this network can utilize full speeds of my ISP connection, I have tried setting different speed values and connecting different devices but no it just doesn't work.

Tried disabling the bandwidth control and setting up individual device speed control in the devices list menu but no speed limit option available for devices connected to guest network.

And on top of that in AP mode this option of bandwidth control just doesn't exist in guest wifi section, at first this option doesn't work in Router Mode and then just doesn't exist in AP mode?

Other problems -

- IPv6 RA RDNSS forcibly includes Google's DNS servers, this issue is already reported but no work on this?

- Link Local Address in IPv6 DNS are considered invalid, why?

What's TP-Link doing? I bought the router thinking its from TP-Link and should just work and have basic features but no.

Hi,

A few of the services running on TP-Link's routers do not support IPv6 yet. Whatever TP-Link utilizes for traffic shaping must be part of those.

So, if you'd like to use Guest Network bandwidth control, then toggle off "IPv6" in the menu "Advanced" -> "IPv6".
