Can't login to Deco
Can't login to Deco
Cannot log in to Deco. The mesh network is functioning fine, but I'm going to have to make some changes soon for ISP reasons.

Credentials are correct.
I see this has come up before, but I don't see a fix.

Hi David
The Deco app is reporting 'We couldn't find your Deco' with various suggestions.
Pretty sure I only hit reset for 1S, what are the alternatives ?
I left it flashing overnight, no further progress. Should I try another reset ?

Well, I tried another reset, and I was finally offered a login to the default SSID network of the 'experimental' Deco and a normal install ensued, to the point of being offered to add another Deco. I took a deep breath and reset one of the others, wasn't discovered so I reset it again. This time it got spotted and installed. Similar story with number 3, a couple of resets were needed.
A firmware update was installed too.
Once all 3 were up I got the full user interface, went into advanced mode and set Access Point mode, which had been advised to resolve a multiple NAT issue. However, I was left with a 192.168.8.0 mesh network .. are more steps necessary ?
At least I can see my network now !
BTW, I had to turn wireless off to login to Deco app, turn it on when told to.

Hurray,
that's excellent news!
"However, I was left with a 192.168.8.0 mesh network .. are more steps necessary ?"
Have you checked if the ISP router is on 192.168.8.xxx range? When Deco S4 is in AP mode, all devices will receive IP addresses from the ISP DHCP router.
BTW, I had to turn wireless off to login to Deco app, turn it on when told to.
-Since you already reset the Deco and installed the network again, now you should be able to log into the Deco APP both via WiFi and mobile data.
Best regards.

Hi David
The ISP router used to be 192.168.1,254 but we seem to have shifted it to 192.168.8.188. So all is as expected.
I guess that's me done !
Many thanks,
cheers, Maurice
