Model: Archer AX53   Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.4 Build 20240306

I have a mesh network set up with the AX53 as the main router, and the AX10 as the satellite. My problem is that the AX10 doesn't let UDP communication through Ethernet. If I connect on WiFi or connect via Ethernet to the main router, UDP communication works without issues, but if I connect via Ethernet to the satellite, UDP stops working. What causes this issue? Is there a way to fix it?

Hello @zsigmons ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

What exactly does UDP communication refer to? Or you can also take a screenshot of the error message.

Can the clients of the satellite unit access internet? Please try a different client to test the wired connection of the satellite router.

  @Joseph-TP Hi!

The problem I am facing is the following: I have an application that needs to communicate with a server through UDP, but if I try to use it on a client connected via Ethernet to the mesh satellite, it displays a connection error. If it's connected to the main router it works fine, and it works fine on WiFi too. Everything else on the mesh satellite works perfectly fine. I think the mesh satellite somehow blocks UDP connections with it's own firewall.

  @zsigmons I think I was mistaken, the problem isn't caused by the mesh satellite, thank you for your help nonetheless.
