Instead of reverting to 1.7.8 or the older version, it is suggested to install the 1.9.1_build_20251020 beta to see whether it helps:

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Why are there two different M5 beta versions in that post to potentially download?

  @Asb5061

Hi, the third type has the least amount of feedback. In case of potential influence, it hasn't been integrated with the other beta version.

Best regards.

I updated to the 2nd beta listed and it seemed to only temporarily solve my issues. I am now seeing more frequent drops and disconnects of my nodes.

My iphone app was also updated today and it seems to also show disconnects more often.

  @David-TP Hi there David, I too (and other users - see Reddit) are encountering this type of issue.  Decos are physically green (and working) but the app is usually showing the nodes offline.  Googling online this appears to be an issue for a couple of years now.

Decos offline but still solid green : r/TpLink

The typical response is to request for users to install beta beta beta - but surely your team needs to internalise this and get it sorted vs firing off beta requests to users?

Any update on this. It's clearly an issue with the latest firmware. I'm still seeing the issue on the beta. When will an updated version be provided?

  @Asb5061

Have you checked the following post:

Enhancing Network Stability and Security Database Update in Deco M5/M9 Plus1.9.1

The incorrect blocking records have been fixed.

I'm still seeing the issue on the beta. When will an updated version be provided?

So, if you didn't refer to the blocking records, can you add more details about the current issue you've experienced?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

There were originally two beta build in that link, and one of them seems to have been removed. My clients slowly start disappearing from my networks. Then my nodes show offline and are unable to be rebooted from the app or online. Only removing power fixes it, but only temporarily.  This has been going on since the 1.9.1 firmware was installed.
