  Hi@staza ,

My suggestion is to update the satellite router first to ensure that the update process is smooth in your network environment, and then update the main router.

  @staza

For general information i updated both routers to  a 1.2.1 beta firmware that tp-link engineers sent me and everything is fine now. Even swapt back the main and satellite routers and everything works fine. WiFi strength and mesh (wired) copy rates both ways are as expected, no mesh nodes roaming dropouts during calls, mlo on main router functions as expected, wireguard vpn also functions as expected, even no-ip ddns update issue is corrected.

Have been up and running for 2 full days with zero issues.

Thanks for the support

Stavros

Hi@staza ,

It sounds good! I am glad that the network came back normally.

Re:BE550 mesh issues

  @Joseph-TP

I am having the exact same issue. At first I thought it was my ISP. But after ping testing against my router I can see that the issue is within my mesh. I have tried everything, limiting all functionality to only 2.5 and 5Ghz wifi and updating all nodes to the latest 1.2.1 firmware. Unfortunately nothing has helped. The only thing left now is for me to do a factory reset, but I am dreading all that work...

Is there something else I can try before doing a factory reset?

  @Arthacus

there is a beta 1.2.1 firmware that resolved my issues, send to me by e-mail from the engineers.

Maybe this can help you too.
