Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Tapo P110 with energy monitoring- the power protection does not cut off after the threshold is exceeded. I have tried even with using a device that used 20 times the threshold of power I set yet the plug just sat there and did nothing. Anyone else having this issue?

  @Rrlz

The load power must remain above the set threshold for a certain duration to activate power protection. Instantaneous fluctuations or brief changes will not trigger it.

Keep the appliance plugged for a minute or so, monitor how it works.
