Hi

I'm considering a TP-Link Archer BE3600 to substitute my bricked ASUS AX56U router.

I'm interested in keeping LAN FTP server (HDD attached to USB 3) which worked quite well with the Asus. That's why I selected the BE3600, which also has a USB3 port.

Previously, I used the Asus as an Access Point with a fixed IP connected by cable to my main router, so I could have WAN and DDNS access to the HDD files (photos, movies...)

So my question: is it possible to open FTP (port 21) and share it on my LAN/WAN with the BE3600? What about security (FTPS? SFTP?). BE3600 Manual says nothing.

Thanks!

  @Vic2

You should be able to set this on BE3600 - this has been described in BE3600 user guide Chapter 10.1.1 ad 10.1.2,

I haven't heard a TP-Link home grade router using a FTPS of SFTP.
