Model: Archer AX58
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.2 Build 20250812 rel.38324(4555)

Hi!

I´ve 2 Ax58 Routers connected via Ethernet with OneMesh activated and it works well on the mail SSID.

Is it possible to activate Guest and IoT under the satelletie router / OneMesh?

I need the networks in both routers. Is it possible? Other wise I´ll return both routers back.

Thanks!

Rafa,

Hello @soycharro ,

Welcome to our community.

If you are using two routers to build a Mesh network, you should use EasyMesh.

Currently, TP-Link EasyMesh only supports extending the main 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. For Wi-Fi 7 routers, most models also support expanding the 6GHz network. However, MLO (Multi-Link Operation), IoT, and Guest Wi-Fi networks cannot be extended to satellite devices within an EasyMesh network.

This means that if you set up a Guest or IoT network on your main router, these networks will not be broadcast or available from your EasyMesh satellite devices. Only the main Wi-Fi bands are extended throughout your mesh system.
