BE550 v1 - low upload speed via WiFi at channel width 160MHz and 320MHz and MLO issue
Hello,
I am experiencing issues with upload speed when channel width is above 80MHz - it does not matter if it is 5GHz or 6GHz. ISP speed 2Gbps down / 600Mbps up - over ETH obtainable, but my Galaxy S25 has 200-300 Mbps upload. I can get proper upload speed only when I limit channel width to 80MHz. Download speed are as it should be. I tried enabling/disabling TWT, OFDMA+MU-MIMO but it does not help.
Second issue is with MLO - it links with both 5GHz and 6Ghz but actively uses single band - mostly 6GHz.
Thank you in advance

Hello @raszei4c ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
If you are experiencing upload speed issues at higher channel widths, it may be related to wireless environment interference, device compatibility, or firmware limitations.
Since download speeds are as expected, the issue may be specific to the way certain devices (like your Galaxy S25) handle uplink transmissions at wider channel widths.
Besides Galaxy S25, have you tested other clients?
For the MLO connection, please keep in mind that current MLO implementations may prioritize a single band based on signal quality and network conditions, and may not always actively use both bands simultaneously for all traffic types.
When you connect to the MLO Network, would you like to use mainly 5Ghz?

@Joseph-TP
I did more tests and when I tested client with ax210 network card I had 1.4Gbps download (not issue, that is expected speed) and 600Mbps upload - that was wifi 6e but with 160Mhz bandwidth. Tested s25 with ax mode same slow upload @ 160Mhz. Additionaly I tested with iperf3 - PC with 2.5GbE connected via ETH as iperf3 server and Galaxy s25 @ 6GHz 320MHz as client. Results 2.5Gbps download / 1.7-2Gbps upload - transfers in LAN are ok, there is issue over WAN. So to reproduce issue: s25 with 160MHz or 320MHz channel width, upload -> WAN. WAN - I use PPPoE and VLAN tag, Max cpu load I noticed was 12-13%.

Hello @raszei4cv2 ,
It looks like you registered with a new email address and a new nickname. Thanks for getting back to us.
As you tested, the client speed with the AX210 adapter met expectations. The S25's speed at 160 MHz was not as expected, which may be due to insufficient wireless compatibility.
You can also try using Wi-Fi Analyzer to test for interfering channels on the S25 and switch to a different, non-interfering channel.
We also suggest contacting phone support for further optimization suggestions.
