Hi,

Please recommend a good modem and a rounter that can work together to improve wifi speed and coverage and smart home.

I am currently using tp-link VX220-G2V Modem from ISP. The coverage is not enough (using extener with two different network names) and seems a bit slow. My internet speed is 500/50 mbps.  I am thinking to get Archer BE550 router, but not sure what modem I should get. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello @kc-12 ,

To help you find the best extender, I recommend visiting our official website, where you can use the Filter tool to sort through available DSL modems and routers based on features such as Wi-Fi speed, coverage, and advanced capabilities. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Go to the TP-Link official website: https://www.tp-link.com/
2. Navigate to the Home section, then select the Network Expansion or Routers.
3. Use the Filters on the left side of the menu to select the features that matter most to you, such as high-speed support, Wi-Fi coverage, and smart home compatibility.

Additionally, the VX220-G2V's specifications are lower than the Archer BE550. My suggestion is that you filter for routers or extenders with similar specifications.
