Model: Archer BE230   RE605X   Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: latest

Hello everyone,

ISSUE 1:

I have an easymesh network at home with this configuration:

As the title says, do these  settings get transfered to the AX53 v1 router? I am asking this because my RE605X even if it has easymesh working I had to manually enable them on it. AX53 when in ethernet backhaul has a very simple interface with no control over any wifi settings, and I can not see if those 2 are enabled, even if they are enabled on the main router, BE230.

ISSUE 2:

Flow controller is enabled by default on BE230 on WAN and LAN, and I can confirm that some of my devices simply bluescreen(2021 laptop) or their wifi driver crashes if Flow Control is enabled. Also when Flow Control is enabled, EasyMesh backhaul gets bugged on my AX53, because it randomly goes to wifi easymesh, even if the cable is perfectly fine. Disabling Flow Control on WAN and LAN level fixes these crashes and backhaul issues.

Thank you.

Hello @qlfsa ,

Welcome to our community.

What are the other clients that are crashed when the Flow Controller is enabled?

What is the model of your laptop? Could you let me know if you've been able to test another laptop for comparison?

This laptop is connected to the router via wireless or cable?

@Joseph-TP Hi, It's a Asus Zephyrus G15 with an Intel AX200 adapter. Fixing the issue was harder than i thought. For some reason I had to disable easymesh, plug the ethernet cable in the AX53 on WAN not lan, reset it, set it to access point mode, disable Flow Control on AX53 too, It was disabled on BE230. Now I disabled EasyMesh on every device and I'm using the Access Point mode on the AX53 and Repeater Mode on RE605X. The issue is gone. For some reason Flow Control enabled on ANY router that makes the network does causes this issue with that laptop adapter. By the way I am using the WiFi connection on the laptop. It crashes the adapter, with flowcontrol enabled. It would be nice if you would release a firmware for all the routers, for when easymesh is enabled to not hide settings like flow control, or OFDMA, MU-MIMO or TWT.
