I have a Tapo D205 doorbell and have successfully set it up so that it rings my Alexa devices when someone presses the doorbell. However, the motion detection announcement doesn’t work on Alexa, even though I have enabled all available options in both the Tapo and Alexa apps.

• Doorbell press announcements work perfectly.

• Motion detection notifications show in the Tapo app but do not trigger Alexa announcements.

• I have tried creating Alexa routines, but it seems the motion event isn’t recognized as a trigger.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is there a workaround or a solution to get motion detection announcements working on Alexa with the Tapo D205?
