Hello,

 

There are many problems occuring right now and I don't know what to do because the router keeps failing to deliver internet to it's clients.

 

Right now there is only the 2 Deco x10 connected to each other by cable. (cable tested by 2 computers with 2.gbps ethernet port)

 

I can  provide the logs if needed, see below some lines of it:

802.11k / band-steering trouble: repeated “Timeout waiting for 802.11k response” for specific clients (e.g., **:**:**:**:**:**), and occasional “Couldn’t get Tx rate” entries for the same client.

 

Radio/VAP driver errors: frequent rtk_get_vap_status: cfg80211 return -19 (ENODEV) messages, suggesting the virtual AP interface is intermittently unavailable/resetting

 

DHCP churn: bursts of DISCOVER/OFFER/ACK cycles for the same address (e.g., 192.168.3.***), implying lease instability and contributing to disconnects/reconnects.

 

ARP flaps: many “client (…) not found in ARP table” right after association events—looks like L2 instability or radio resets.

 

Steering oddities: “Beacon report for unknown STA 00:00:00:00:00:00” and band mismatch lines during steering callbacks.

 

 

How can I fix these problems?

Can I disable wifi 6 and let only wifi 5?

How can I configure my decos like I can in a archer router?

First of all, thanks for your time.

Regarding this, the problem is that this firmware is not for my region, it will void my warrany and I would rather avoid this because I just bought it. Since there is no firmware in my country, better wait a little.

 

 

@TP-Link , can your team check if this firmware could be released for all?

  @goodevil I am from Bangladesh. It was US hardware. I installed this firmware manually. There was no problem. You can also try it if you want.

  @goodevil This firmware include all region codes around the world and you can install this firmware manually by using Web UI because they did'nt post firmware on all region websites because (EN) website has all region firmwares.

@SayeemAhmed please understand that the problem is not if it works or not. The problem by doing this is that I loose the warranty. 5 YEAR WARRANTY.

Is there a beta or official firmware for his country?

  @goodevil I have bought Deco M4 from Pakistan and there is 2019 firmware on Pakistan's Tplink Website but i have installed firmware from Tplink EN Website (EN) means English which support all firmware around the world. @David-TP Recommended to me to download and install firmware from that website.

Hi,

Deco in Brazil is the general US version. There isn't regional-specified firmware in Brazil. Currently, only the 1.3.0  of the EU version has finished the firmware release process. It would still take a while for the US version. However, the bin file indeed also works for the US hardware.

For the reported issue here, the firmware upgrade might not help, so you can stay on the current 1.2.0 version.

Can I have the model numbers of the devices that randomly disconnected from the Deco WiFi?

Will these devices restore the internet connection automatically, or do you need to manually restart the Deco to get the internet back?

By the way, have you seen any Deco turn red/flashing red during the disconnection?
