Subject: URGENT FEATURE REQUEST: Add VPN Client & MAC Whitelist Support to Deco S7 via Firmware Update

Dear TP-Link/Deco Development Team,

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent experience with the TP-Link Deco S7 mesh Wi-Fi system.

I am highly satisfied with the hardware's performance. The setup process is straightforward, and the Wi-Fi coverage and stability are truly excellent. This product is a strong contender in the market, but it currently lacks two essential software features that would make it exceptional.

My Key Requests for Firmware Update:

 * VPN Client Support (Major Drawback):

   * Need: In the current digital landscape, securing the entire home network with a third-party VPN (like NordVPN, ExpressVPN, or WireGuard) is crucial for privacy and accessing global content.

   * Current Problem: The absence of a VPN Client feature at the router level forces me to install and manage VPN software on every individual device. This is inconvenient and impossible for devices like Smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming sticks.

   * Request: I sincerely urge you to prioritize adding comprehensive VPN Client support (including OpenVPN, L2TP/IPSec, and preferably WireGuard) through a firmware update for the Deco S7 and all future models.

 * MAC Whitelist/Filtering Feature:

   * Need: To maximize network security and control, users require the ability to restrict network access to only specific, approved devices.

   * Current Problem: I was unable to find a clear "Whitelist" or "MAC Address Filtering" option in the Deco S7 settings, which is a standard security feature even in basic routers.

   * Request: Please ensure that a robust MAC Whitelist/Filtering feature is implemented and easily accessible within the Deco app/settings, allowing users to select an "Allow Only Listed Devices" mode.

Conclusion:

The Deco S7 has excellent hardware. Adding the VPN Client and the MAC Whitelist features would dramatically enhance its security, functionality, and overall value proposition for users who need advanced network control.

I look forward to an update that addresses these critical feature gaps.
