5G network keeps getting enabled
I've disabled the 5G Wireless network because I only need one WiFi and 2,4 is better dan 5G.
And every day the 5G network gets enabled.
I use a wireless schedule and I think that's the issue.
That's also what I read here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/607994
@Sunshine this issue was from 2023 and it seems like it hasn't been solved yet. Can you tell more about this? Is there a fix?
Thanks

Hi, have you configured any "Reboot Schedule" on the Archer MR600?
May I know how long you have had the router? Did the posted issue start recently?
It is also suggested to manually update to the latest firmware for Archer MR600_V2.
Best regards.

Hello David,
Thank you for your quick reply.
No, I don't have a reboot schedule.
The router is new, only a week old so everything is new to me.
I've heard something about a beta firmware also for disabling your one-mesh hidden network?
I'll try the new firmware, thanks!

"new" firmware doesn't work for me:

This solution worked for the firmware problem; https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/708890
I now have the latest firmware, but it doesn't fix the 5G issue: it still get's enabled every morning after the wireless schedule ends.
Tips anyone?

Hi, thanks a lot for your time and patience.
After consulting the senior engineers, "WiFi Schedule" will enable the wireless module again on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. So the reported issue here is completed as designed.
If possible, you can send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com so that we can request assistance from a senior engineer to explore alternative solutions.

Thank you very much.
Best regards.
