Hi

 

I’m using a TP-Link Archer AX53 (US/1.0) and recently noticed that the Admin Web UI has become very slow and laggy after updating to firmware 1.4.4 Build 20250603 (US).

 

The router performs fine for internet and Wi-Fi, the web interface is almost unusable — each click takes 3–5 seconds, sometimes shows “Processing…” for a long time. Tether apps also.

I tried everything. ( PC Connetion With Cable, Reset ) Same result!

Smart Connection Not working properly. Archer C80 is better than this.

 

 

 

1. Is this a known issue in 1.4.4 (US build)?

 

 

2. When will the 1.4.5 (or newer) firmware be released to fix the admin UI lag?

 

 

3. Is there any temporary fix (SSH/Telnet access, hidden debug mode, etc.) available in this version?

May I know your complete topology? For example, ISP modem—router )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

Have you created an EasyMesh Network between the C80 and AX53?


Is there a switch between the C80 and AX53? Please remove it for a try. If it doesn't help, please unplug the Ethernet cable from the WAN port of AX53 and try to log in to its web interface with no network status.
