Be800 and be63 mesh ?
Hello Community Members,
I have a BE800 main router working perfectly, and I want to extend the mesh network using a BE63 decoder. Is this possible? I've tried all the alternatives I found and haven't been able to.
Is the BE800 compatible with the DECO BE63 mesh ?
Ill try easymesh and i cant...
Thank you very much,
Christian W

Hi,
Unfortunately, the EasyMesh of the BE800 and the Mesh technology used by the Deco BE63 are not compatible with each other.
There has been an effort by TP-Link to bring EasyMesh to Deco devices, but it hasn't yielded much yet. (only two Deco models so far)

Thanks for the reply.
Honestly, it's really sad, since I couldn't find any information about incompatibility in any of its technical specifications, and assuming I was buying the top-of-the-line TP-Link, I thought everything was compatible...
What should I do now? Sell the BE63 receivers? Or sell the BE800?
How awful!

Hello @Christian-W ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
Deco and Archer routers currently use two different Mesh protocols.
If you already have an Archer BE800 in use and the Deco unit is newly purchased, it is recommended that you return the Deco unit and replace it with a device that also supports EasyMesh. Below is a list of EasyMesh-compatible devices; you can filter by option in the left-hand menu to select the product that best suits your needs.
Best Regards.
