VR2100 NBN issues
I have just upgraded my internet to NBN FTTP/FTTB and am using a VR2100 in Australia on the Exetel network.
1) Both the wifi and LAN drop out regularly although the internet is still active to the modem. I often need to reboot it to get it working again.
2) Some devices can't find the 5ghz wifi. I am not able to change the channel to anything above 112 for some reason.
3) I also have a RE605 extender on the network but I can't set it up on one mesh as when I click on the Advanced One Mesh tab in the modem interface it says error code 1 internal error.
Can someone please help with some settings that I can change to make this work? Getting a bit frustrating now. All equipment is new, thinking I may need to choose a different brand.

Hello @VR2100NBN ,
Welcome to our community.
If your DSL modem router obtains the Internet through the WAN port, please refer to this Troubleshooting: Unstable connection on the TP-Link router.
For the error code 1 message, have you tried to disable the VPN client? Here is a beta firmware that may help you: Archer VR2100 / Archer VR600 reports ‘Error code:1’ when disabling the VPN client.
Best Regards.

I have updated to the beta firmware but it now says "Firmware Version:Archer VR600(EU)v3_Datecode2025-04-27_11.40.00 Hardware Version:Archer VR2100 v1 00000000" at the bottom of the screen. Is that correct? And also is it meant so say EU if im in Australia? Is this why some devices cant find the right channel?

Hello @VR2100NBN ,
As far as I know, the regional version of VR2100 is mainly the EU version, and there is no separate AU version.
Regarding channel selection, were you able to use channels above 112 usually when using other routers before?
