Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20240121 rel.56156(5553)

Model: AX55 Pro V2/ Build: 1.0.5 Build 20240121 rel.56156(5553)

During routine network operations, the TP-Link Archer AX55 Pro router encountered a login loop on the web management interface when login through LAN static IP. Specifically:

  • The administrator enters the correct password,

  • The system appears to authenticate, but immediately redirects back to the login page,

  • No error message regarding incorrect credentials is displayed,

  • The issue persists across multiple browsers and workstations.

This behavior prevents access to the management dashboard, creating operational risks as configuration changes and administrative tasks cannot be performed.

Troubleshooting Performed

  • ✔ Switched browsers (Chrome → Edge → Firefox): issue persists

  • ✔ Cleared browser cache, cookies, and sessions: no improvement

  • ✔ Rebooted the router: issue reoccurred

  • ✔ Tested using Incognito/Private mode: still unable to log in

  • ✔ Login with wrong password: the system still detected

Hello @Halu, thank you for posting on the TP-Link Community.

Would you be able to log in to the router using the Tether App?

If it still fails, I would suggest resetting the router to its factory defaults, creating a new login password, and then checking again if you can log in successfully.
