Unable to Login to VPN Account
Hey guys, after selecting VPN client option I tried logging into my surfshark account but each time I get this error "this ip address has been blocked due to multiple accesses during a short period".
I have been getting this error from the very first time I tried the option. My user ID and password is correct because I can log into the account via web browser.

I have solved the issue. I signed up for another VPN trial of a different brand. Used that to login to surfshark via the deco app and it worked.
I deleted the trial vpn from my phone, disconnected and reconnected the internet and I was still able to enter the vpn client section in the deco since I am still signed in surfshark.
I think what happened is since setting up the deco which I've only had for a couple days I was using the VPN for regular browsing on my phone. Maybe that's why the deco blocked my IP saying too many requests were being made.
The vpn client is working since I added my phone to use it to see if it works and it does, confirmed via whatsmyipaddress website.

If you check the IPV4 address on the Deco App>More>Internet Connection, is it the same as the IP on https://whatismyipaddress.com/
I saw a similar feedback before with the same error message, also on SurfsharkVPN: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/849626
If you have the mobile phone connected to the Deco WiFi and try to connect to SurfsharkVPN on the mobile phone directly via Surfshark App, can you get it connected or Would there be any error message?

My IPV4 address is different to the one one what's yip website.

Do you still save the old WiFi router?

-Did you use to set up Surfshark VPN on the old router directly?
It is suggested to manually copy the MAC address on the old router to Deco:https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2925/

My ISP is Flow (Not in the US)
I still have the old router, this was connected via ethernet to my modem/router combo. I still use the modem/router but I put the old router in storage. This router was not able to install VPN directly onto it. Thanks

Did you use to connect to SurfsharkVPN on your mobile phone directly?
When we set the VPN Client on the Deco, the WAN IP of the new VPN connection might be different from the previous one via mobile data.
I saw the support article here:
An IP address will be locked for 10 minutes after switching the server.
Have you tried signing out of the Surfshark App/website, then waiting about 10-30 minutes to log into the Deco App again?

Yes I connect to the Surfshark vpn directly on my phone and other devices at home.

Just to let you know, Surfshark has an option to login via a code instead of using password but I do not see that option in the deco app.
For instance, I can download the surfshark app on my tablet, click login with code and it generates a code which I then have to enter on my mobile device in the surfshark app. This bypasses my having to enter username and password on the second device (tablet)
The engineering team needs to implement this so things can get better. Thanks for all your efforts, really appreciate it

There is some limitations to this feature though. If you have more than one device, like me, that you use your VPN for all devices have to use the server location selected. I prefer to use different VPN locations for different devices which makes sense.
Also, there should be an option to log out of the vpn within the deco app
